Growing up, you’ve probably heard somebody point at something and say, “Man, that’s a nice junt.” They weren’t talking about a specific category of thing. It could be a place, a person, a story, a song, a ride, or a moment. A junt is whatever you decide it is.
When it came time to create a cannabis brand, we weren’t interested in sounding corporate. We weren’t interested in inventing another fake luxury name or another brand trying to sound scientific. Cannabis has always been part of culture, and culture has always been part of everyday language. JUNT felt authentic because it already belonged to the people. It wasn’t manufactured in a boardroom. It already existed in conversations long before we ever put it on a package.
